I often get frustrated that it took me so long to find hypnosis. Before becoming a hypnotherapist I spent sixteen years as a secondary school teacher. And whilst I don’t regret all of the years I spent teaching because I learnt so much from those years and enjoyed many aspects of it. However, I stayed much longer than I should. The biggest reason I stayed as long as I did was because I was afraid. I was afraid that I wouldn’t have the security, that teaching appears to offer.
